Dreamy French Countryside Wedding: Jesiel + Romain

Dreamy French Countryside Wedding: Jesiel + Romain

via

While many French couples dream of tying the knot at an awe-inspiring chateau, Jesiel + Romain had something more relaxed + rustic in mind, so they searched high and low throughout the French countryside until they found Domaine d'Evis , a beautifully restored 15th century farm loaded with charm and character.

Jesiel, a food stylist originally from Puerto Rico and Romain, a banker living in Paris, originally from Nantes, met at a terrace of a Parisian cafe in 2009 while Jesiel was in the city looking for a culinary school. For their wedding, they knew they wanted to celebrate their two different cultures coming together and a bilingual ceremony, along with a mix of French + Puerto Rican cuisines + music helped them make that goal a reality.

We could go on and on about the loveliness you're about to see but, instead, let's get right to the beautiful images captured by Sasithon Photography from The Wedding Artists Collective ...

We love, love, love Jesiel's wedding dress by French designer, Delphine Manivet.

Such sweet, rustic details!

Jesiel shares, The wedding theme was Country Chic. Just to add up to the fun environment, we asked the girls to wear flowers in their outfit and to the guys to wear suspenders or bow tie. We achieved a very intimate cocktail area full of antiques, lots of wild flowers and personal items. The idea was to provide the guests with an intimate environment so they could spend some time together (in some cases for the first time) before going to the sit-dinner and then celebrate together.

So, so lovely! Big congrats to the beautiful newlyweds!!
