Talk about getting the icing and the cake: SPACE favorite Mira Mikati designed an exclusive pre-fall collection just for us, and she's traveling all the way from London to tell us about it, and to share her ultra-fun outlook on style and life.

Central to Mira's collection, and her entire brand, is the idea that dressing should be fun-and that wearing fun, playful clothes can really change your life. When you get a chance to chat with her (as we did during Paris Fashion Week, for instance, and in this feature last year), she talks about how her pieces are real conversation starters, and smile-makers.

But now you don't have to take our word for it ...

On Wednesday, June 22, from 1 to 3, Mira will be in our Downtown Seattle store; and on Friday, June 24, between 1 and 3, she'll be at Nordstrom Michigan Avenue in Chicago.

As we learned during the aforementioned Paris Fashion Week encounter, Mira isn't afraid to install an entire universe of fun stuff in order to make a point. And while I've personally confirmed that, unfortunately, we can't fit an entire bouncy house inside either SPACE boutique, Mira is definitely planning to make herself at home-and make you feel at home as well.

We're not going to blow any surprises, but please do expect cookies, girl talk and campy fun-and a really special chance to have a one-on-one connection with this upbeat, energetic designer and her exclusive-to-SPACE collection.
