This simple DIY served double duty at our Southern Spring BBQ: it added an element of playfulness, and it helped to label all of our delicious dishes and sweet treats (those strawberry hand pies...yum!).

We found the red craft paper at Michael's, and we got the black and white gingham print from vector stock-it was super easy to print on card stock paper in our home printer. These sweet rosettes would look wonderful at a backyard summer wedding, or even at your next neighborhood bbq!

Step: 1: Find the paper of your choice and cut your paper into small strips. We cut our paper in strips, 3.25″ x 11".
Step 2: Fold your paper like an accordion.
Step 3: Once your paper is folded, take a thin piece of string, or twine, and tie it in the center of your accordion tightly.
Step 4: Take your folded accordions and pull each side to make a bow-like shape.
Step 5: Using Aleen's Tacky Glue, glue the sides together. You may need to hold in place for a minute while they dry.
Step 6: With the ribbon of your choice, cut your ribbon in 3″- 4″ strips, depending on how long you'd like your ribbon to hang. Glue the ribbon to the back of your prize ribbon.
Step 7: Using a circle punch, or scallop circle punch to create a perfect circle. Hand write your labels, or use a favorite font and print them at home!
Step 8: Glue your label to your rosette, let dry, and you're done!
