For Spring 2017, Tibi added a few Edwardian era elements to her clean, modern constructions. Corseted waists were a surprise considering the usual fluidity of founder Amy Smilovic's designs. Juliet sleeves, too, departed from the label's often contemporary cuts. But these few departures from her beloved formula for ease in dressing added a romantic tinge to very wearable designs.

To accentuate the flourishes in this collection, Bobbi Brown artists gave the models a flushed beauty. Flawless skin was warmed with a dusting of bronzer, topped with a taupe eye and finished with natural lips.

How to get the blushing look:

  1. Lead artist Cassandra Garcia said, "Amy wanted something to complement the clothes so we used taupe cream shadow stick all over the lid, bringing it up right to the crease (normally you would go over the crease) and blended the edges."
  2. Then to give it a cool diffused look, she pressed taupe eyeshadow powder on with her finger.
  3. Using the same taupe shadow, she defined under the eye as well.
  4. For the skin, she used a retouching wand so it looks fresh around the nose and under the eye, the chin, anywhere there might be redness. The product was also used for quick touch-ups later.
  5. Bronzing powder in a shade to suit each model's complexion was applied on the cheeks and lightly across the rest of the face. She used a light blush to bring out the rounded "flushed" cheek.
  6. On the lips, she applied Art Stick for a matted, muted look. She used the colors Rich Nude, Bare and Brown Berry.
  7. She gave each model with a retouching powder through the T-zone.
  8. To finish the look, she applied a soft coat of mascara-really just a hint-on the lashes.

How to get the nails:

JINsoon played up the modern and flirty personality of the Tibi collection in five shades for the fingers: Blue, Orange, Grey, Dolly Pink and Demure. Grey acted as the neutral color when pairing the polishes with clothes.

Shades were chosen to highlight the subtle details and craftsmanship in the collection, while the toes were kept clean in a classic shade of Tulle.

  1. First the team removed all polish and oil residue.
  2. They applied JINsoon Power Coat as a base to protect the nail.
  3. Two coats of JINsoon's polishes came next.
  4. Finally, an application of JINsoon Top Gloss sealed in the shine.
