To celebrate the opening of our new store at CF Toronto Eaton Centre (September 16), we've been talking to some of the city's model residents while photographing them on the streets-and sometimes rooftops-of their stunning metro.

Occasionally, it's not too difficult to pinpoint someone's passion. With model Natasha Ramkay, her love of healthy and delicious eats surfaces as fast as you can make instant oatmeal. So it took us just about as long to hit her up for some of her hometown's best meals and treats.

Here is what the Torontonian told us about where to score tacos and more.

How long have you been modeling?

I have been modeling for eight years.

If you weren't doing your current job, what would you do?

I currently work as a food quality assurance coordinator with Real Food for Real Kids. I have always wanted to work in the food industry, particularly in food safety. It is rewarding to work with a company who promotes healthy, wholesome eating. However, if I was not working with Real Food for Real Kids, I would be a full-time model. I love the creativity, clothes and the amazing people I get to meet!

Favorite article of clothing-the kind you wear so much you're worried it's going to fall apart?

My high-waist jeans. I'm in love with the way they shape my body, plus they go with everything. It's my fashion staple.

Favorite article of clothing you only bust out on special occasions?

Open-back halter romper paired with my thigh-high lacy strap-up heels and my Mendocino kimono. It's my go-to stylish, special occasion outfit.

You know Toronto style. What product should we make sure to stock a lot of at our Toronto store?

Graphic tees. They can be dressed up or worn casually, but they are a must in every girl's closet.

Favorite food in Toronto?

Hmm, that's a tough one. I have two: La Carnita, because I love tacos, and Veghed, which is a small hole-in-the-wall vegan/vegetarian restaurant on Dundas West. They have the best salad-and beet brownies!

Favorite drink?

Swoosh protein shake from Fresh; it is delicious!

How would you spend 24 hours in Toronto?

I'm an early riser. I like to have my morning coffee and workout to start my day off energized. Then I would head down to Kensington Market, sit in NU Bügel and eat a breakfast sandwich (it's the only place you can find a New York-style bagel in Toronto). I would stop off at the Urban Herbivore for a sweet-potato-and-date muffin to go! I would spend the afternoon in High Park soaking up the sun. Dinner with my friends at Kinka Izakaya, a traditional Japanese bar with amazing food and atmosphere. If you ever get the chance to go, go! I would finish off my night at the Underground -live music, some beers and good company.
