The rainbow bright colours of Simone and Adryll's bright & colourful winery wedding are just the ticket to get you over any Wednesday moods! Choosing Daniel Brannan as their photographer, the newlyweds choosing a day filled with fun details - pom poms, moments and endless dancing!

Simone and Adryll tell their story for us. "This is not a case of love at first sight. Adryll got shot down the first time. Adryll first met Simone in 2010 at a mutual friend's house, fortunately for him, he had a car to send people home after the gathering, "coincidently" (or maybe not) she was last on the list to be dropped home. Days later, text messages were exchanged and the chase was on (well the first attempt). Long story short, there was no sparks flying after a date, and Adryll went back to Melbourne, rejected, and alone. August 27th, 2012, 12.31pm, a lifeline was thrown (in the form of a Facebook message), and from there, there was a spark. Adryll worked hard to stoke the fires, late nights on Skype, falling asleep while on video was a regular occurrence.

Exciting times soon followed as Simone made two visits to Melbourne, Adryll made one trip, but in the course of planning for the second trip, he made the decision to move back to Singapore (to spend time with his family was obviously the primary reason), but the date was locked in. 18th October 2013 was going to be the day he flew back to Singapore."

Simone had a friend make her gown. "I wanted my dress to be me and one of a kind, so I decided to have it custom made! The specific design I based largely on two dresses that I saw that I really liked. I went with a mermaid cut as I wanted a dress that would accentuate my body shape. Full lace, as I wanted irregular details on the top outline of the dress, and a flowy bottom. And, a specially added on a belt just so I could wear a bow! (It's no secret that I love bows)."

The bride and groom met before the ceremony, the groom bringing with him the brightly coloured bouquet created by Poppy Culture.

The couple chose Stillwater at Crittenden Estate for their wedding, noting, "We actually choose the wedding venue from trolling through photos off the internet as we were both residing in Singapore during the planning. One important source of content for us was actually Polka Dot Bride. We took the plunge and went with Stillwater at Crittenden as it met all our needs: On site accommodation, ceremony and reception could be held in the same location without needing to organise external catering, that the ceremony could be held outdoors with a nice view (with) a wet weather plan for the ceremony."

Simone walked down the aisle to Choose You by Sara Bareilles.

Luke Connaughton from Bridge Church officiated the ceremony.

The newlwyeds created much of the decor themselves, noting, "The bridesmaids' bouquets and all the decorations - multicoloured yarn pom poms, the flower arrangements, and the guestbook which we used corkboard with French bulldog notes to write on. For the vessels for the floral arrangements, we used a mixture of whisky and gin bottles (we and some friends) brought over from Singapore, and pasta and jam jars collected by the groom's brother in Melbourne."

"We planned two games and our friends surprised us with an additional. And something really different for table seating, instead of writing names of the invited guests, we asked each guest for a quirky self-fact, and used that as place cards, guests where given their table number (out of 3 tables) and were invited to find their seat by reading the various place cards till they found their own."

Of their first dance, the newlyweds remember, "We danced to Treasure by Bruno Mars, which was choreographed by our friend. We broke the dance floor after."

Even the exit was a special moment! The bride remembering, "To round off the night we exited to an aisle of people with sparklers."

Congratulations Simone and Adryll! Thank you for sharing your day with us! Thank you also to Daniel Brannan for sharing today's celebration!
