Michelle and Cam first met as teenagers when they were brought together by their love of badminton. "Throughout the years we coached summer camps together, but didn't start a relationship until many years later. To this day we are still mixed doubles badminton partners," Michelle says.

For their wedding, the couple went with a warm and elegant vibe with a colour palette of dusty rose and silver for a touch of sparkle. "We felt the colours complemented each other and helped to set a sophisticated yet inviting tone," Michelle says. One of the couple's favourite elements of the wedding was including their pet in their ceremony as the flower dog. "Toby is a very important part of our lives, and it was very special to have her be part of the day. It was adorable to see her walk down the aisle in her flower collar and accept treats from guests," the bride laughs.

Michelle says another unforgettable moment during the ceremony was when Cam pretended to have forgotten the ring, referencing the fact that he did the same thing when initially popping the question. "He forgot the ring during the proposal and proposed with pink lemonade gummies instead," she explains. "So during the ceremony the best man handed me a packet, then Cam fed me in front of everyone and gave one to each member of the wedding party (including Toby!). It definitely brought some humour to the ceremony," Michelle laughs.

The couple's big day finished off with a party at The Beach House, a gorgeous venue with views of the ocean and Mount Baker in the distance. Their signature drink, a sparkling pink lemonade, was one of the highlights of the party and another nod to what Michelle calls "the pink lemonade gummy proposal".
