Our Beachy Boho Bedroom

Our Beachy Boho Bedroom

via

Hey guys! So we've been enjoying sharing some peeks into our home and today we are super excited to share our bedroom. I think I mentioned before but with our last home, our master bedroom was the one room that we never designed and this time around I was determined to make sure this room didn't get forgotten! With our two little ladies here (Sienna is now 3 1/2 and Dakota is 5 months!) I thought it was so important to have a space Jason and I could really relax in and wanted to keep it clean, bright and with a bit of boho touches.

For our color palette, we were inspired by the sunset (our favorite time of day!) and that GORGEOUS rug by Justina Blakeney for Loloi Rugs. I love that the rug covers most of the floor and really brings lots of gorgeous muted colors into the space. Another inspiration for the room? That photo above our bed by Max Wanger. Just love the colors and the feeling from it. The beach is one of our favorite spots so it only made sense to have a photo of it in our room.

One of the first things we did with the space was paint all the walls white - we used Dunn Edwards White DEW 380. I really had been loving the clean + bright white walls and it really made the room feel brighter and just super fresh. At first Jason wasn't sure about painting the walls white but once he saw them he became a fan. :)

We were looking for something for this wall and found that great round shelf from World Market which I love. We plan to keep updating the shelves with treasures from our travels since traveling is one of our favorite things to do. The bench below is a Home Goods find (love that place!) with a black +white pillow from Lulu & Georgia and the pale pink pillow is from Bed Bath & Beyond (it's SOOO soft!)

Another place we love for wall art is Minted and that Golden Palm print above is from Minted. Love that they take care of the framing and work with amazing artists! Oh, and how cool is this dresser we found at West Elm?! Love the light wood with the pops of brass. It's from their collab with Roar + Rabbit. We have the 3-drawer dresser and the 6-drawer dresser.

Pillows and rugs are what makes a bedroom so cozy right?!! The pillows are from West Elm and the blanket is from Lulu & Georgia. The side table is also a great Lulu & Georgia find and love the wood + white color blocking on that lamp. Cutest Jonathon Adler bud vase makes a perfect side table accessory.

This rug though, right?!! Seriously OBSESSED!! Oh, and the bed - can't forget the bed!! We decided it was time to update our bed since our previous bedframe was a piece Jason had bought before we started dated and it was time for a refresh! This velvet bed from West Elm brings a bit of luxury to the space which I love with the other textures of the room - oh, and the color matching the print above perfectly. :)

Hope you guys liked this little peek into our bedroom! There is actually another space on the other side that we JUST finished designing and we'll share in the next few weeks - a sweet little sitting area that might be my new favorite part of the room so stay tuned!

And we have some pretty amazing Home Tours lined up for the next few months so stay tuned! We are so excited that you guys are all loving this new vertical for GWS. :) Oh, and if you'd like to share your space with us, we'd LOVE to see it and you can submit home tours here.
