This ethereal display of teal and gold wedding ideas comes from Cape Town based photographer Chenel Kruger . Her vision brings together the juxtaposition of soft watercolors set against the clean, hard-edged lines of geometric wedding design, in gold and copper. The mercurial effect of mixing blue wedding watercolors - turquoise to teal to cerulean - created an ethereal wedding color palette.

CJA HAute Couture created bespoke gowns for the shoot, working in exquisitely airy fabrics in delicate shades of pale blue. Hair and make up artist Clarita Smit's styling was romantic and soft - gentle curls, a nude lip and a subtle, smokey eye. Amanda from Kadou created a beautiful cascading fresh floral table runner for the main table, a true statement piece of ferns, berries, greens and delicate blooms, including purple tulips.

Eureka wedding and event venue based in Durbanville, Cape Town, was the ideal space. Having recently been rebuilt, the venue provided the clean, fresh look that Chenel and her team pictured as a backdrop for their vision of teal and gold wedding ideas. It gave the flowers, dress and decor the perfect setting against which to truly pop!

The turquoise, teal and gold wedding cake was hand painted onto fondant by Style Me Sweet. Stationary, designed by Melissa from Pretty In Stains, was based on a watercolor palette of blues, purples and pinks, used for to paint floral bouquets on each element of the paper suite - from table to invitation!
