Finding a stellar makeup artist that you feel comfortable with is not an easy task, but it doesn't have to be a daunting one either. To help simplify the process, we put together a list of questions you should consider asking before officially hiring the makeup artist.

  1. How many years of experience do you have of working with brides? How many weddings have you done in the past year alone?
  2. Do you have references I can call?
  3. Do you have a portfolio?
  4. Do you have a backup, in case you can't make it at the last minute on the wedding day?
  5. Will you be working any other events on the day of my wedding? (You don't want her to have to rush off to another appointment)
