Pantone 2017 Color of the Year: Greenery Wedding Inspiration

Pantone 2017 Color of the Year: Greenery Wedding Inspiration

via

Are you familiar with Pantone's Color of the Year? For those that aren't, Pantone annually unveils a new color - something that is reflective of the cultural climate and what people are focusing on. This year's color? Greenery! Greenery brings to mind the words refresh, renew, and restore; it signifies beginnings, healthfulness, and the outdoors. For those that want to stay current and use modern palettes, today's styled shoot channels that green hue and even takes place in a greenhouse! Leucadia Nursery in San Diego was the enchanting space where Kara Donovan Photography, Kelsey Rae Designs + Bloom Babes teamed up for one insanely gorgeous + green styled shoot!

Bloom Babes, the brains behind the overall look, shares Walking into this nursery for the first time a few years ago made me feel like I was in a different country. The plants were all so alive and the aisles were small paths, barely traceable because of the lush greenery. What could be more beautiful and raw than a secret garden? I've always wanted to showcase this place to the world but I knew I wanted to do it right. So when the color of the year came out as "Greenery," I felt like the stars aligned and people would be able to have an appreciation for such a fresh look.

The secret garden awaits...

SERIOUS WOAH.

Wanting to let the greenery really pop, the team kept the floral palette soft and neutral, with faint blush hues.

We're definitely pinning this hairstyle by Katie L'Heureux for later! And that moody magenta lip color by Makeup By The Sea ... LOVE!

The bride wore a simple + sleek wedding dress, designed by Paulette and Maria from Archive Bridal.

There's something so magical about greenhouses... Their dimmed brightness, the fogged glass, and of course, the lush greenery.

Kelsey Rae Designs created a lovely jewel tone tablescape to complement the soft + romantic florals.

Agate chargers, matte black plates, and deep purple + silver glasses. YES, PLEASE!!

Bevy and Brine provided those pretty paper goods + all the calligraphy.

Can you imagine frolicking through these aisles? So, so fun! How would you incorporate Pantone's 2017 Greenery color into your big day? We'd love to hear in the comments below!

A huge thank you to the dream team behind this gorgeous inspiration!
