There's something magical about Marfa, Texas. Be it the many art installations, the mythical "Marfa Lights", or the vast expanses of desert surrounding it. Whatever that magic is, the first time Brit + Brendan encountered it in 2011, they were hooked! So much so, that when it came time to planning their wedding day, Marfa kept coming up as THE place.

Brit shares We made our first trip to Marfa together for the Trans-Pecos Festival of Music and Love at El Cosmico in 2011, and immediately connected with its one-of-a-kind energy, barren landscape and big skies. When we started thinking about the wedding, we realized that three things were important: time with the people we love, a unique experience and a little bit of adventure. Marfa fit the bill on all counts.

How perfect are those getting ready robes, especially given the setting?

Brit wore an incredible modern dress with a touch of lace by Theia.

El Cosmico, a place known for its bohemian, desert lodging, set the stage for the day.

These two!! We're diggin' the pop of color from her bouquet by Cara Crossley.

The bridesmaids wore dresses from Anthropologie + Show Me Your Mumu.

Pops of midnight blue, and burgundy added dimension to the table. We especially love these use of the terra-cotta pots + bowls!
