Lauren and Gustav's wedding is the perfect combination of elegance and southern charm! The gorgeous Ford Plantation set the scene for the couple's Thursday wedding, selected so that the couple could have several days together with their friends and family. Working with Posh Petals and Pearls, Lauren and Gustav created an intimate feel with cafe lights, chic wooden tables, and a ceremony set beneath the the plantation's stately oak trees. Gustav's parents are florists, and knowing that Lauren's favorite flower is the peony, gifted all of the lush peonies for the event. Amy Harvey of Harvey Designs weaved the peonies into arrangements of garden roses, hydrangea, and eucalyptus to create a lovely garden feel. We love the pop of teal in the bridesmaids dresses from After Six, and the classic Southern detail of lemonade for cocktail hour. Each moment was captured beautifully by Ashley Seawell Photography!
