A Colourful & Fun Tropical Inspired Wedding Styled Shoot

A Colourful & Fun Tropical Inspired Wedding Styled Shoot

via

We are injecting a bit of colour into your Tuesday afternoon with today's bright, wonderful and fun tropical inspired wedding shoot by event planners, stylists and designers, Max & Joe. They wanted to create a bridal and decor shoot that was tropical yet chic and modern. They also wanted to celebrate all those wonderful colours that you associate with the tropics: lush greens, bright pinks, rich oranges and deep reds.

Featuring an amazing light orange ombré wedding cake by Cokoa (my mouth is watering) and a gorgeous floral crown and bouquet by For Me, this shoot is certainly not shy of some great wedding inspiration and ideas.

Anne of Max & Joe talks us through the shoot and all the suppliers involved.

Aloha Means Love, Aloha Means Fun....

Our aim was to create colourful, chic, fun and trend-setting images!

We gathered French and Belgian teams around this amazing and sunny day. Our objective was to create amazing pictures but also we asked our models to have fun as the big day is supposed to be full of love and happiness!

Most of the time, our brides and grooms ask for 1 or 2 colours for their big day but we deeply think that colours are chic, colours are easy to combine and offer the possibility to add many details for different budgets. So we wanted to have all colours represented around this shoot. The big flower crown was almost the beginning of the inspiration and we then added many details!

The shooting took place at the Café Aa in Brussels (Belgium) with this incredible Californian spirit: good vibes, music and greenery were already in place for the shooting day!

Full of Tropical Flower Spirit....

The decor has been created by Larissa from For Me Floral Design and Max & Joe Studio. We worked closely as all details had to match. Larissa put some greenery on the walls of the Café to create even more tropical effect and we attached a branch of palm on the bride and groom chairs.

'Aloha' is the starting word of our inspirational shooting day but it was important to give sense to this word. So Max & Joe created a small card to put on each plate for the decoration. It could be used as a poem to remember and as a gift for the guests: Aloha means Love, Aloha means fun.

We decided to go with an ASOS bridal dress as their wedding collection is fantastic and original. The open and long sleeves give a soft and modern look.

Justine our model was just stunning even before the hair & make up session. We wanted her to keep it natural with her blue eyes so we played with a fushia colour on her lip to remind the colours of her big flower bouquet.

The stationary has been created with the same full-of-flower spirit! We wanted something dynamic, graphic but still very modern.
