Boho Medieval Wedding With Archery And Snail Racing - Weddingomania

Sarah and Arran were married in August, after two years long distance between Manchester and Brighton. They wanted their wedding to just reflect them, have a venue with a brown sign, and be beautiful. For entertainment they had snail racing and even made a DIY snail arena for the day!

There were a lot of DIYs at the wedding. The couple designed and hand-printed all their invites, table plans and save the dates, they made their own wildflower seed favors, did the floral arrangements, made the bike wheel chandeliers (out of old bike wheels, florists foam and fresh cut flowers), and painted the snail arena the weekend before the wedding. The couple's biggest expense was their venue, but they saved money by doing so many DIY projects, their friends baked all the cakes and sweets, so it was another save. The wedding cake they baked was a naked one topped with camellias - so summer-like. There was an alternative cake - a cheese tower topped with fresh figs and grapes for those who don't like sweets.

The bride was wearing a medieval-inspired wedding dress with a V-neckline and colorful underskirts, and just look at her boho medieval headpiece, it looks wow! She finished her look with gorgeous vintage lace booties with ribbon. The groom chose neutral pants, a white shirt and a tweed waistcoat with a burgundy tie. Look at the photos to catch more of this peculiar wedding!
