Gina and DJ had an art-inspired wedding with one of the most interesting cakes with an amazing story. There were Andy Warhol details everywhere (including the cake, as you'll see!) including Warhol postcards tucked underneath the napkins, Campbell's soup cans as vases in the centerpieces, and cookies based on some vintage Warhol wrapping paper.

Here's what Gina had to say about the Warhol-inspired wedding cake...

I always admired this particular cake illustration from Andy Warhol's recipe book, Wild Raspberries. The cake was cheeky, strange, and whimsical. I originally used the illustration as a simple motif on my save-the-date cards. However, I eventually decided that I wanted the cake to be my actual wedding cake. I thought it would be funny to recreate a cake that wasn't really meant to ever come to life.

I really wanted to emphasize that the cake was inspired by an illustration, so I added a museum plaque to the wall next to the cake table. I think this might have been my favorite detail. I was an art history major and so were most of my friends who attended the wedding.

Are you ready to see this artsy Warhol-inspired wedding at The Cleaners in Portland, OR come to life? Don't miss Gina's strawberry earrings that were given to her by her grandmother!
