Chinesische Hochzeit 喜 喜

Traditionally in Chinese weddings there is a Tea Ceremony. The origins were to have one ceremony with the bride's relatives and one with the grooms side basically to meet all of the relatives. After the tea traditionally the bride is gifted gold jewelry from her family. I believe as the reception continues guests also give the bride good jewelry which is worn immediately.
