I recently bought a 24-70mm lens and am in love with it. The wedding at Casa Loma was the first test with my new baby - in terms of versatility, I give it a 10 (especially during the ceremony). I don't have to run around as much as I did before with my fixed focal lens. The pictures are very clear and quick. However, I did find some restraints when shooting portraits in a non-busy environment. The bokeh isn't as pure as I want it to be at times. Perhaps my next lens will be a 35mm.
