When the reality of travelling is stopping in the middle of nowhere for a quick photo (stepping cautiously to avoid the yak-pats) even though you're wearing hiking socks with sandals because really, who cares?! You haven't showered for a few days anyway (showers are a rarity in Mongolia) and life's too short/the weather too cold/sandals too comfortable to even think about looking remotely cute/going sock free anyhow ☺️
