So happy and honored to be at the Hard Rock Cafe San Diego tonight at the American Society of Hematology Convention accepting the MPN Heroes Award on behalf of my dad Robert Rosen who, after being diagnosed with blood cancer in 1997, founded the @mpnresearchfoundation which has become a leading organization driving research in MPN related fields. Dad, I miss you terribly ever since you died during your stem cell transplant last January and I’m sorry I used to smoke Marlboro Lights in your minivan and once called you “rigid and provincial” in 1992 when you were standing in my bedroom after dinner explaining the origins of atomic energy but I just wanted to watch Beverly Hills 90210.
