I found so many ideas for Christmas snacks that I'm afraid I will have not enough time to show you them all. I try to choose the best ones. These awesome cheesecake bites are one of them. First of all I love cheesecake, second I am a huge fan of Santa Claus.

This week I should have been really getting down to the grind and cracking on with my mammoth to do list. There's always something to fix, or perfect or organise isn't there? But despite supposedly having a busy week in the office, I allowed myself to do something I haven't for a long while. I procrastinated.

This week has been busy but delightful. I signed off on my two big projects (one of them will be hitting the blog on Monday - watch this very excited space!) and spent an evening with Gareth at a spa (yes, it was just as wonderful as it sounds). Then yesterday I hotfooted it to London to speak at the fabulous Papergirls Paperfest conference followed by one to many cocktails with Debs, Lucy and Abbey. Despite speaking to them all pretty much every day I haven't seen them in forever and it was just beyond magnificent to catch up in person.

I used to make so many excuses for not travelling. "Oh I like being at home", "I've just got too much work to do" and "I hate airports" were my favourite justifications. And then The Blogcademy came crashing into my life avoiding travelling just was not an option! Now, I literally can't get enough. I love love love experiences new places and meeting new people. I'm even starting to weirdly enjoy airports.

Hello from Auckland! Our alarms went off at 5am this morning and we were back on the road, heading to New Zealand for our third class on this Antipodean adventure. Although Gala, Shauna and I have been having an absolutely fantastic time down under, it really has been all go go go. We've been pretty un-Rock n Roll and spent most of our down time in our PJs, laying about in whatever hotel or apartment we happen to be hauled up in.

Oh I do love a good workshop. This week I spent most of my time at the Photography Farm where a bunch of wedding photographers and I spent the whole time getting to know each other and gassing about our favourite topics - weddings, photography and blogging! There really is nothing better than spending time with like-minded nerds. I always leave these kinds of environments feeling super inspired and invigorated push myself and my business to the next level.

Do you know this kind of food that when you start to eat it, you simply can't stop. It's so tempting and delicious that you can't resist. Snacks have this kind of influence on me...They are perfect for meetings with friends, and small parties. In fact, I can't find an occasion they are not perfect for.

With my adventures down under soon drawing to a close, this week I've really started to think about my goals and plans for 2014. While, yes, it may be a little intimating to ponder a whole new set of tasks and things that need to be achieved, it is one of my favourite things to do. Someone in our Auckland workshop this week asked me why it was important to set yourself goals and commented that she was scared to do so in case she didn't achieve them. I told her what I'm telling you now.

How am I going to Australia in three weeks?! But more to the point, where the hell is this year going?! So much to do, so little time... Ah sod it, I'm just gonna stop for a while and read some inspirational business articles instead. Who's with me?

Keep them from getting hungry and restless while you finish up the big meal with these delish goat cheese appetizers. Thanks to allrecipes for sharing! Ingredients: Directions: Pour chopped nuts into a bowl, and set aside. Spread each bread slice with approximately 1 tablespoon goat cheese.

Late one night this week, as I was battling the jet lag and working on blog posts way past 3am, I was simultaneously having an email conversation with Paul Jarvis: web designer, writer and all round awesome dude, If you haven't obsessed over Paul's work yet by the way, where have you been?

I'm not the best housewife but I made this for dinner on Monday night and it was flipping delicious and SO EASY. It look a whole ten minutes. I actually added some chopped up sausages to it after it was cooked too, Gareth is a hardcore carnivore and a vegi dish for dinner probably wouldn't have gone down that well. Oh yeah, I'll be winning that wife of the year award in no time!

When it comes to desserts I am obsessed with bitesized sweets. I am not sure if it is because I feel less guilty about eating them or because they are just so cute. Check out these Apple Pie Bites I made as a Thanksgiving treat.

Spending two weeks away from my beloved computer doesn't half make me desperate to crack on with work as soon as I get back. It's totally geeky I know, but that's just me! As soon as I'd gotten through all the emails (oh so many emails!) that had build up over the past fortnight I was straight onto plowing through my RSS feed to devour all those business articles that I'd missed.

In my opinion, creative cooking is one of the most interesting web section. Discovering new recipes and useful kitchen hacks is the best part of my job. Thanks to long searching we can show you talented baking and cooking enthusiasts. Michael who's standing behind Inspired By Charm website, came up with this recipe some time ago.

It's the same old song and dance. I got to Australia for our final leg of The Blogcademy 2013 tour in a little under two weeks (cue major freak out!) and so I'm spending most of my waking hours desperately trying to get as much blog content written and scheduled for while I'm away. This is no mean feat when you have at least two blog posts per day for three and a half weeks to do (not to mention the blog posts before I go as well!) ARGH.

I am happy that I found this recipe. I have kilograms of apples at home. They are everywhere, on shelves, on kitchen tops, on the fridge. I put them, wherever I could. They can last for whole autumn and winter. It's one of the best type of apples.

So usually I open these Business Bites posts with some kind of work-related lesson that I've uncovered over the past seven days... but when you're having so much fun exploring the Queensland coast there's no time for nonsense like that!

Can I let you in on a secret? Ideas are pointless. How many people do you know that have 'brilliant new ideas' all the time but never actually do anything with them? How many people have you heard say "well, if I did that, I'd do it sooo much better". How many Pinterest boards do we see full of amazing recipe ideas people will never cook or home décor ideas they'll never implement?

With the new year just around the corner, I've been reviewing how I do certain things and seeing how I can make improvements going into 2014. One of the smaller changes I've decided to make is to merge Thursday Treats with Friday's Business Bites post. I've decided that dedicating a whole blog post slot to a second links round up article is a bit of a waste and so instead I'll now be posting either a second Green Room article each week on a Friday afternoon or another real wedding feature! You're very welcome.

Considering I don't have a sweet tooth at all, I sure do pin a lot of pretty sweet treats... hum, I wonder what that says about my psyche? I hope you've all had a brilliant and productive week. I'm really looking forward to this weekend because I'm going out - not once but twice! Sheesh, what a party animal. Now excuse me I better go and grab a quick disco nap before the chaos commences!
