While cycling, it is important to keep in mind that your safety is more important and to abide by the safety measures for safe cycling. Sometimes it is also necessary to wear knee and elbow guards to protect you if you fall. The helmet should be replaced every five years and avoid buying second-hand or used helmets because they may not be safe to use. Do not use a pavement unless there is a sign that says you can do so. Also look out for opening doors of vehicles and give enough safe space to avoid crashing.
