The How-Tos
Saving on the stylist, or want to try the look at home to see if it suits? We've tracked down some handy tutorials to help you on your way to DIYing your wedding updo.
Home-styled Hair
Refinery 29 (one of our fave sites) has lots of nifty hair tutorials. Their French twist tutorial has step photos and instructions.
It's a little on the tricky side, there are quite a few steps to master, but the finished hairstyle is well worth the effort, for beautiful wedding day tresses. This would be a gorgeous one for bridesmaids too.
Beautiful Mess
Once Wed have a very nifty tutorial for this glorious messy French twist.
This look is just fabulous for an elegant rustic wedding or a beach bash, don't you think? It can be as undone, and pulled apart as you like.
Their DIY do is easy to manage with step-by-step instructions and pictures.
A Classic on Film
And if pictures are too tricky to follow, this video tutorial shows how easy it is to create a classic twist sans stylist.
So many gorgeous styles in there, but I think the messy French twist is my fave.
Let us know, are you what styles are you working on for your DIY 'do, or if you have a stylist, would you consider a French twist for your big day?
