I'm Carole and I have been creating bespoke headpieces at Pretty Perfect for around 6 years. I design and hand make bespoke items using beadwork, feathers and textiles with a range of ready to wear pieces as well. In November 2013 I added Stella and Dot accessories to my business and became a stylist. I love being part of the Stella and Dot community and have great fun with my team.

I absolutely love creative challenges, when bride's needs to incorporate personal style into their accessories; I find it really fun using my ideas with a client's specification and creating a unique piece. I particularly enjoy styling girls at exhibitions and shows, the Stella and Dot jewellery range is great for so many aspects for wedding shopping. I am able to show clients the perfect pieces for brides, bridesmaids and gifts, lots of versatile items that will be worn time and time again. I enjoy seeing girls find new style ideas, I particularly like being able to share the host and stylist opportunity with brides to be. My background in is in Textile Design and I worked as an Art teacher. I always thought I would run a small creative business and inspired by bridal design and styling I started Pretty Perfect. My aim is to offer brides beautiful designs that could be adapted to suit their look. I really want to style girls with creative, personal headdresses. Pieces they will want to keep and cherish.

When I make a head piece for a client I know she will have exactly what she wants. It's a great feeling when you know a bride has looked all over for the prefect wedding hair accessory, but couldn't find one, then I have been able to listen to her, see her style and make her a piece that will finish her look.

The collection I share is really quite diverse, I would say my pieces are quite romantic and if I am creating bespoke bridal headpiece, often unique. I have created items with clients' heirloom brooches and jewellery, lace from their dress, I created a birdcage veil from the veil a bride's mother wore.

Clients can meet with me for a headdress design appointment or I can lead bespoke design consultations at distance by telephone and email. We often start by trying samples or looking through my portfolio to get an idea of the size and style of the headpiece and then plan the details. Ready-made items are available through my online shop, and commission pieces are individually priced.
