I've been obsessed with Charlotte Mills' shoes as soon as I first discovered them a couple of years ago. Bridal shoes that are pretty and feminine but not satin and boring? Hell yes, sign me up! I love her shoes so much I wore a pair when I was bridesmaid for my friend Carly and I'm wearing another pair when I'm maid of honour for my sister in July!

What I love about Charlotte's shoes is not only how comfortable they are, but the fact that she offers a variety of heel highs and isn't afriad of a splash of COLOUR. Plus, any designer that covers a heel in rainbow glitter is all good in my book.

All of Charlotte's shoes are handmade in Spain. The factory she uses have been making shoes for over 50 years which just goes to show how important the quality of the finished products are to her. Using techniques such as laser cutting, appliqué and embroidery, her shoes really are a much needed breath of fresh air in the wedding market.

Each shoe is even hand finished with a silver sixpence and the leather sole is embossed with the phrase "Something old, Something new, Something borrowed, Something blue and a silver sixpence in her shoe." Don't you just love that?!
