Selena and Stephen had a most magical Disney*Pixar's Up wedding theme for their Reno, Nevada wedding. We're talking hot air balloon glowing centerpieces, rainbow balloon cake, grape soda boutonnieres, Carl and Ellie-style mailbox card box, balloon thumbprint guest book print, and balloon shots galore. It's like their love exploded in color form and we got drenched in the magic.

Let's take a peek at all the Up-themed wedding decor and hear from the couple themselves.

Our wedding was inspired by Carl and Ellie from Disney*Pixar's Up. We had nods to the relationship throughout our wedding. We had a mailbox with our handprints and names, the groomsmen wore bow ties and "Ellie badges," our ring bearer and "sprinkle boy" were dressed as Carl and Russell from the movie (complete with a walker), and we tried to incorporate balloons and bright colors into our decorations.

We also tried to make everything super personal to us and our interests, so there were geeky references throughout the wedding. We made signs pointing the way to the ceremony, reception, food, etc., but we also made this awesome signpost pointing the way to all of our favorite fictional destinations (Hogwarts, Hyrule, Narnia, Westeros, etc.) Our cake had symbols for Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Legend of Zelda, and Star Wars incorporated into it. The music in our ceremony was all the soundtracks from our favorite movies and TV shows (check out The Geek Wedding Collection from Vitamin String Quartet).

The reception had tons of games: board games, corn hole, pool noodle javelin, and lawn Jenga. Our guest book was two-fold: We had a poster of Carl and Ellie's house in Up and asked people to put their thumbprints as balloons and we had a mailbox for people to give us notes of advice, encouragement, etc. We also set up a separate kids tent with fun stuff so that the little tykes would have something to do too.

We love good food, so we had food trucks with kickin' cheeseburgers and hot dogs as well as a chip and dip bar and a dessert buffet. Our cake was bright blue and covered in balloons, with nerdy symbols worked in. It turned our tongues blue!

For decorations, we set up the tables so that each one was a different bright color. Then we covered them with tons of Mason jars (both clear and glitter), hurricanes, and handmade hot air balloons, all with LEDs.

As it got darker, the tables all began to glow. The coolest part was that we got colored LEDs for the balloons so as it got dark they transformed from white balloons, to the color of their table. We also set up a relationship timeline with pictures that we wrapped around a tree for people to see.

We had glow sticks for the dance which brought even more color as the night went on, and used them for our glow stick exit at the end of the night.
