Love Struck Wedding Inspiration

Love Struck Wedding Inspiration

Good morning, I hope you all had a great weekend. I certainly enjoyed it as family and friends have started to arrive from Ireland, the UK and other parts of the States for our wedding this week. We can’t wait! I thought this inspiration board was appropriate to start this exciting week off. Love ‘struck’ for me over 15 years ago when I first met Gabe and it has hung around since. I won’t go on and on about how much I’m looking forward to being married to him but let me just say that I feel incredibly lucky. To have Lindsay, Gabe’s sister and the other half of Fly Away Bride, organising the wedding is beyond amazing and it is just going to be so pretty and fun! Weather permitting, we hope to have an outdoor meal like this gorgeous celebration last week. (Really, really keeping every bit of our bodies crossed we can that rain will stay away!) I love the way a candlelit dinner creates such a romantic atmosphere. Bright touches of gold, glitter and vintage marquee lights can be combined to literally bring a warm glow to decor. We’ll definitely be having our portrait shots taken with evening light as a backdrop where the sun is at a slant as it’s just the most flattering time of day. Keep other colours almost neutral like the dove grey and flat blues below, and use mirrored accessories like the gold tray to accent warm metallics. Very striking!
