With less than 10 days to go, we couldn’t start the week off without a Christmas Wedding Inspiration board. It feels like an absolute age since I put an inspiration board together and I enjoyed every moment of this, especially since I won’t be at home for Christmas this year. Being settled in one place for nearly a week now, it’s been nice to be able to reflect and of course, try get into the Christmas spirit, even if it is 30 degrees Celsius right now! It’s going to be such a different one for me this year, still wonderful and special because it’s my first one with Mike – but I will miss the craziness that happens in our house, the 15 or so bodies around the table, the garnet and gold colour scheme, Dad trying to convince us all that three types of vegetables will do us this year instead of twelve (always loses, God love him!) trying to squeeze two turkeys into the Aga, and of course, the kiddos running around getting more excited about the wrapping paper than the toys themselves! It’s magic! And today’s wedding inspiration is all about capturing that Christmas magic, traditional in colour scheme it may be, it’s still a favourite of mine. This board is about celebrating and feasting with family and friends around the table. Garnet and Gold is a beautifully warm colour palette and with the glow of candlelight, a heap of foliage and old, beautifully tarnished treasures and a little touch of glitter – it really is magic. And what about that table runner… reminds me of Santa’s list. Have a Merry Monday everyone!
