Hello lovelies!! Happy New Year to you all! I'm back after a much needed two week break feeling rested and restored, and ready to tackle whatever 2014 has in store!

A big welcome back to our regular readers, and an excited hello to all you gorgeous newly engaged ladies too!! your favourite inspiration board

Proving that lace really was a hit in 2013, my most popular inspiration board was #105: lovely lace. In soft peach, grey and neutral tones this board captured the trend for pared back & elegant weddings which made a big comeback throughout the year too! Hayley & Pierre's Just Peachy Wedding by Fiona Clair Photography embraced one of the year's hottest colour trends resulting in a timeless, romantic wedding that you totally fell in love with! your favourite styled shoot

Keeping with the blush theme, the most popular post by far in 2013 was one of my very own shoots, How to Style a Sparkle and Blush Wedding. A collaboration with Gaby, editor of South African Wedding blog SouthBound Bride and high-end photographer Chanelle Segerius-Bruce, this has to be one of my favourite ever shoots and I'm so very glad you agreed! This is also one of my most published shoots to date, gracing the pages of You & Your Wedding, My Wedding Day Magazine South Africa, Sweet Magazine, Wedding Magazine and Wedding Chicks! I share the best Styled Shoots from the wedding world on Thursdays

your favourite b.team post

Our top b.team post of the year came from our beauty queen Ana Ospina, showcasing her top On-Trend Bridesmaids Make Up Looks for 2013. With a selection of gorgeous dresses from the newest Maids to Measure collections, and pretty photography from Anneli Marinovich we proved that looking after your bridesmaids is just as important as all the other details of your day! Of course as well as everything we achieved online, 2013 was a successful year off-line for b.loved too! I am very proud to have collaborated on some very beautiful editorial shoots, featured on Rock My Wedding and Ruffled as well as in Wedding Magazine, Wedding Flowers and Accessories, Perfect Wedding and You & Your Wedding. I got to create a Kate Spade-inspired editorial shoot with a dream-team at the UK's first Editorial Wedding workshop alongside Gaby from SouthBound Bride and Anneli Marinovich Photography, teaching wedding photographers about styled shoots and how to get published, as well as making some amazing new friends!

October was an exciting month, as b.loved came runner up 'Best London Wedding Blog' in the inaugral Wedding Magazine Blog Awards! Anna and I had a very glamorous evening celebrating with our fellow nominees and winners at The Ritz in London; a big thank you to all who voted!!

We rounded off the year with b.loved's first industry event in late October with the b.party, hosted alongside the b.team and a team of rather wonderful suppliers at Trinity Buoy Wharf. The turnout and feedback from my industry colleagues and other guests made me extremely proud (if exhausted!) and I am beyond grateful to everyone who got involved. See all the pics and video here!

hello 2014!

If that sounds like a lot to cram in to 52 weeks, then just you wait to see what I've got in store for 2014! The first quarter is all about new editorial shoots and exciting collaborations, including the next three looks for the b.team Style Guides. I'll also be introducing you to our very own Real Life Bride, who will be sharing her story from proposal to honeymoon starting in the next few weeks! We're also working on some huge, big plans which we hope to be able to share with you mid-way through the year... keep your eyes peeled for some exciting announcements nearer the time! And of course, I want to hear from you too!
