We have an amazing new festival venue to share with you today!

New to our Festival Brides venues and land hire page, this little beauty of a venue is the ultimate raw festival site. Fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for your wedding, the Quirky Festival Site in Hertford is a ready made site making planning for your wedding simple and straightforward. They even have a funky wooden ski lodge bar onsite that is fully licensed and ready for business!

The site is based in Hertford and is home to the Wilkestock Charity Music Festival, an independent non for profit festival that is dedicated to raising money for two charities, Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research and Keswick Mountain Rescue.

Wilkestock began its life as an outdoor party for a few friends in 2006 by brothers Tom and Olly Wilkes. Having grown through word-of-mouth and due to the great success of the event, Wilkestock is now firmly established on the festival circuit and has become renowned for showcasing up and coming bands and local new talent.

Seven years on and the festival still retains it's home-grown ethos and commitment to championing new, local and international artists. Last year attracted over 1,500 people to the Wilkes' brother's fields of Watton, Hertfordshire with more increases on attendance expected year on year. Gone are the days of a few friends camping in a field over night with a sprinkling of local bands, Wilkestock is even bigger than ever and the festival has extended to three action packed nights, split over a number of stages and venues.

Due the nature of the site this is a package price which includes all of the below:

• Land use including camping (use of land for 5 days which includes a 3 day set up, 1 event day and 1 strip down day)
• Up to 250 guests
• Amplified music until 11pm (later can be arranged)
• Parking for up to 75 cars
• Red 10 x 15m stretch tent (Extra can be hired at extra cost)
• Truss and stage system - Steel deck stage area with sound system
• Light. Sound and DJ package - PA system and mixer included (DJ extra cost)
• Floor matting
• Porta Loos
• Ski Lodge Bar - The venue is licensed requiring all alcohol to be purchased from the bar and be consumed on site. (Min spend 2k)
• Sofas - These are second hand in which some are in good condition and some are not. Great look if wanted
• 6ft Round tables and 6ft trestle tables
• Plastic Chairs
• Site lighting - Using flood lights will be used on site where needed
• Water - Drinking water available from outside tap
• 24kva Generator including fuel - This is for the event day and night only.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• This venue is not licensed for weddings but there are lots of ceremony options available
• £1750 deposit is required to secure your booking.
• A £500 bond is held, but is full refundable after your wedding if the site is left as you found it
