Vintage Eclectic California Wedding

Christine and Eddie envisioned a wedding day that was more of a party and celebration than a traditional wedding. Their cozy wedding celebrated not only their love for each other but also their love of music, fashion, and eclectic decor. Every detail was so unique, from the one-of-a-kind gold shopping cart used to hold the gifts to the beautiful salvaged wood California sign Eddie and Christine used as their guest book. Don't forget Eddie's pride and joy, a vintage baby Blue Dodge Dart which the newlyweds left in at the end of the night.

From the Vendors:
Since Christine and Eddie's love story began in Los Angeles, finding the perfect LA venue to host their wedding became their number one task. They settled upon Elysian, located in the heart of Los Angeles, for the ceremony and reception. Elysian is known for it's modern architecture, Zen-like outdoor spaces, and relaxed vibe-basically the perfect canvas for Christine and Eddie to create their dream wedding.

Christine and Eddie wanted to create a wedding experience that would make their guests feel right at home. One way they did this was by bringing in some of their most loved, vintage décor pieces from home including the taxidermy deer head that was hung above the lounge. The life-size fiberglass zebra was a wedding gift from friends but added to the uniqueness of the decor. The organic-feeling centerpieces provided by The Enchanted Florist featured a mix of Dahlias, succulents, and fresh fruit arranged in varying heights consisting of vintage brass goblets, mason jars, and collected antique plates. The favors on the table were vintage Los Angeles pins that paid tribute to the city that brought them together. Usually it's the bride who changes into a second dress for the reception but again Eddie and Christine surprised everyone when Eddie came out in an awesome, metallic colored blazer and matching Nikes. YEAH! Rentals provided the midcentury lounge décor as well as the long, family style table and chairs. The chairs added just a pop of color with their teal painted tips.
