The Hottest Heels (& Matching Pedis!) for a Night Out

When it's time to paint the town red, you want to look amazing from the top of your perfectly coiffed hair all the way to your shiny, freshly polished toes. Especially when an integral part of your outfit is your favorite pair of open-toed shoes. Don't let yourself get caught out with tacky, chipped nail polish that don't do your kicks justice! Instead, plan ahead by pairing your heels with the nail color that complements them perfectly. We chose some of our favorite shoes and picked out polishes that look great with them. So kick up your heels and read on to learn why these pairs work so wonderfully!

Black Suede Shoes + Olive Green. Cutouts are huge right now, and there's no better way to follow the trend than with these sandals from Zara. The sultry suede of these sexy sandals works wonderfully against Giorgio Armani Nail Lacquer in Acid Velvet. Wear this combination with a red dress or dark skinny jeans and a bright blouse.

Girly Pink Fur Sandals + Rose Gold. Is Carrie Bradshaw in the house?! These ultra-feminine soft pink Topshop Faux Rabbit Fur Sandals would make Ms. Bradshaw proud. Know what would make her prouder? This pair of shoes with a glittery rose gold pedicure like Maybelline Color Show Veils in Rose Mirage!

Metallic Ankle Strap Sandals + Deep Red. This is a pretty classic pairing for a night on the town. These strappy gold sandals from Steve Madden look great with just about anything from boyfriend jeans to cocktail dresses. Paired with a deep red nail polish like essie Dress to Kilt, and you've got a killer combination - pun intended.

Leopard Print & Black Leather Heels + Bright Orange. Leopard is the new neutral, which is why a bright pop of color works so well with these fun heels from Dolce Vita. Try a bright orange like L'Oréal Nail Color in L'Orange. It's a great color for summer and fall and it's a bit more unexpected than other bright polishes.

The Brown Leather Stacked Heel + Muted Blue. For a more casual but classy heel, we love this brown leather pair of Jeffrey Cambells with a peep toe, ankle strap and stacked heel. To work with the earthy tones of the rich brown leather, we chose essie The Perfect Cover Up, which is a gray blue with a hint of green.

What colors would you pair with these heels? Sound off in the comments!
