A Wedding in Greece...Even just the sound of that makes one extremely excited and such a possibility most definitely crossed every young girl's 'possible wedding destination' list! Well for Chantel & Taki this dream became a reality and every second of this day looks like incredibly stunning! Chantel decided that she wanted a South African wedding photographer and chose no one other than the beautiful Schantel Merwe from Schantel Merwe Photography. Schantel is also a close friend of Chantel and she was the perfect choice of photographer for this wedding. Another South African brand that took part in the day was Pistachio Designs who did the stationery.

It looks idyllic, the blue top roofs, the while walls and the stunning blue ocean, is a setting that one can simply not describe. We are absolutely intrigued by this stunning wedding! The couple is sharing their story.

Lovebirds | How did you two meet?

It's kind of a fun story, especially the beginning, the middle and the ending... My
Hip Hop dance instructor Sherry, twisted my arm and leg to meet up with Taki, "the man
of my dreams"! Sherry is our mutual friend. As my dance instructor and Taki's neighbour,
she arranged for us to first meet around two weeks later...I was working on Sunday's as
an Estate Agent - The development was "The Paddocks" in a trailer site office - dusty
and dirty! He came inside...He shook my hand smiled and said...Hi. I crumbled into
thousands, no millions, I think it was billions of pieces...

I said Yes | How did the proposal go down?

And then came the engagement of a lifetime....Shoooooo, Taki took me to the top of the
Akropolis, in Athens...he invited his best friend Miguel and my Cherry...They came
all the way from Germany for the weekend - just to be with us, now that's what we call
friends! We walked up to the highest point with the most breathtaking, most spectacular
views and Taki proposed to me! My knees buckled - I nearly fell off the cliff. At that
point, I knew he was the man I was going to marry! We got engaged and started planning
for our wedding.

The Big Day | Tell us the most memorable moment of your wedding day?

Taki's promise to his yiayia was when he was ready to be married, he would do so in
Greece, where yiayia Asimina would be able to attend at her current age of 94 years -
what a treat!

On arrival we instantly fell in love with Dana Villas and its amazing views!
A Santorni wedding is a picturesque fairy tale wedding and it was such a treat to share our
special day with our family and close friends.

It will be an occasion to remember for the rest of our lives! "A memory that will take our
breaths away forever!"

The best part for both of us was looking into each others eyes and saying "I DO".
