Intimate wedding at La Fontaine Gaillon Paris

I will never tire of beautiful real weddings in Paris and today we have Michelle and Adam's wedding at La Fontaine Gaillon in Paris, the restaurant owned by Gerard Depardieu. For their destination wedding in Paris, the couple secured the services of Dee from No Worries Events to take the hassle out of planning their big day.

Armed with a beautiful Vera Wang wedding dress and an intimate party of family and friends, the couple flew to Paris to celebrate their wedding in the city of love on a beautiful summers day.

Dee from No Worries Events, takes us through their big day: " Michelle and Adam wanted to plan a fun and beautiful trip for their wedding, inviting several of their friends and family. They contacted me a little over a year prior to their target date of May ; from there, we worked together to find the perfect venue and suppliers.

Fontaine Gaillon - renowned for being owned by actor Gerard Depardieu, among other things - is a well-regarded restaurant with a lovely, large patio. The patio featured a stunning fountain (the "fontaine") that was a perfect backdrop for the wedding ceremony; afterwards, the couple had dinner and dessert with their friends and family in the ground floor salon, fully privatized just for them. I knew photographer Yann Audic was the perfect choice for them - not only is he an amazing artist, but he can cover a lot of ground and take tons of photos around Paris without the clients feeling rushed, yet without going over tight deadlines. Estelle Preston created the gorgeous peony centerpieces and florals; I brought over antiqued and lace décor from my collection in the States, as well as a "guest book" consisting of vintage postcards purchased from vendors stationed along the Seine. Pastry chef Laurel Sanderson, of the café Treize- a Baker's Dozen, made the delicious cake, which featured fresh strawberries. The florals on the cake are from 360 Degres. Most stunning of all was the bride's gown, a gorgeous, overflowing Vera Wang. Michelle looked amazing in it from start to finish, and we had to make sure the limo we rented had enough room in the back to fit the skirt!

The day after, the couple hosted a scavenger hunt, and then many of the friends and family travelled throughout Europe in the days that followed. It was a once in a lifetime trip that they will never forget. "
