Moody Marsala Wedding Inspiration

via

How many of you are beginning to brainstorm design ideas for your fall or winter wedding later this year? If so, today's editorial just might be the inspiration you've been looking for! We love the idea of including the Pantone color of the year, Marsala, into your celebration + they way today's team ( Birds of a Feather Events + photographer, Charla Storey) did so is just so good. They set up shop at Hickory Street Annex in Dallas, Texas and created a scene bursting with moody Marsala details and the most perfect florals ever, thanks to The Southern Table Designs! Finally, the setting felt complete with an ultra unique bridal ensemble: a stunning black + pink lace + ruffle gown by Watters. Check it out...

Southern Fried Paper nailed it with this gorgeous Marsala invite suite. The lovely calligraphy was by Harts and Quills.

We can't stop staring at this perfect bouquet!

This moody sweetheart table just screams romance. Wendy from Birds of a Feather Events tells us more, We were inspired by the deep tones of Marsala, black, and plum but wanted to make sure it still felt like wedding inspiration, so we added in some soft blush tones and decided to set it in a white, industrial space. We used black candles to create that moody atmosphere...

And how pretty are these cakes by Layered Bake Shop? Almost too beautiful to eat!

So perfect for a wedding later this year, right? Marsala has been one of our fave Pantone picks yet. For more Marsala love, see the wintery centerpiece we made inspired by this hue here!
