Is This the Summer Lip Color You Must Have?!

Summer is all about lightening up. For some that means getting that body in swimsuit-ready shape, while for others (us included) it means literally lightening our makeup shades. The deep reds, browns and purples that dominated our fall beauty arsenal - specifically our lipsticks - will be taking a back seat for the next few months while brighter hues come into play. And this summer, it seems there's one shade that shines a bit brighter than most: coral. Yup, this light-and-bright shade represents everything good in life, and here's why.

Crazy Coral

One of the reasons we love coral so much is that it strikes the perfect balance of natural and striking. This allows the pink-orange hybrid to be versatile and a staple with any outfit. Seriously though, any outfit. You can work that coral with jeans and a tee as well as that pretty summer dress you've been saving for a special occasion!

The thing to remember about coral lipstick (and any other bold shade for that matter) is that you need to make sure it works with your skin color. Some shades may wash you out or be too bright for your complexion. If you want to know what coral hue works with your skin tone, read this.

It's important to also know that you are not limited to rocking coral in matte form. You can go a few directions with this fun shade: gloss, matte finish, shine finish or tinted lip balm. Whatever avenue you take on your coral journey, the outcome will be fantastic.
