Julie and Nick met while attending Tulane Law School, and after being together for only a year and a half, Nick was diagnosed with cancer. After weathering that storm together, it's only appropriate that the couple celebrated their spring wedding with some April showers, sure to bring good luck for this strong and loving couple's life together. They chose to say "I Do" surrounding by their family, friends, and stunning Louisiana Oak trees at the stately Stella Plantation, Everyone embraced the spring sprinkles by donning umbrellas and wellies for the ceremony. Then, after a walk under the cover of the oak trees to the reception tent, they enjoyed a candlelight dinner and danced the night away to the tunes of Atlanta Rhythm and Groove. We absolutely adore the sophisticated blue and white color palette. Patterned linens from La Tavola are perfectly topped with a sea of candlelight and fluffy white hydrangea centerpieces designed by Kim Starr Wise. A rainy-day wedding is no easy feat to pull off, but Sapphire Events carried it out with aplomb. We are completely charmed by each beautiful image from Catherine Guidry!
