We love a good duo: Sonny and Cher, peanut butter and jelly, Batman and Robin. We love them even more when they come in makeup form. It's almost as if everything is right in the world (and on your face). To celebrate our love for great beauty combos, we enlisted the help of makeup genius Marygene Rose to help us come up with a few lip and eye duos that will get you through fall. Check out the first of our series: maroon lips and glossy lids!

Photo: Step 1: Apply a shimmery rosy pink shadow (like The Body Shop Colour Crush Eye Shadow in Pink Crush) all over the lids and just above the crease.

Step 2:Using a flat shadow brush, gently apply a clear lip gloss over the lid. Make sure the layer isn't too thick or goopy.

Step 3: Dust you lower lash line with the rosy pink shadow you used in Step 1.

Step 4:Line your lips with a deep berry lip liner (like Maybelline Color Sensational Lip Liner in Wine) and fill them in completely. Fix any mistakes with a concealer brush and you're ready to roll!
