There is nothing more special than a wedding ceremony and reception with so much thought put into it for the guests. This sweet couple wanted a laid back and fun environment and designed their wedding this way all the way from the invitations by Papellerie to the Food Shark food truck they had on hand. One of our longtime favorites, Kayla Barker Fine Art Photography, truly captured the joy of this Texas ranch wedding. We especially love the little details like the succulent gifts and the beautiful floral arrangements by Bows And Arrows Flowers ...

From The Bride: "Texas is a very special place for us. We met in Houston at Rice University. Kyle's family is from Texas and Althea's godfather has a ranch, Cibolo Creek Ranch, in west Texas. Not only is Cibolo a beautiful family owned property making it a clear front runner, but it was the first vacation we took together in 2007. Marfa is such a unique place that feels stuck in time; we knew that having a wedding there would mean our friends and family would spend a lot of time together, something that can sometimes be lost in the hustle and bustle of a city wedding. In fact, we spent many nights leading up to the wedding playing board games with family and friends. We wanted our wedding to feel fun and laid back, and we spent a lot of time working with each of our vendors to make sure everything from the invitations to the cocktails to the night's activities reflected our personalities. Getting to Marfa is definitely not an easy journey (a four hour drive from either of the nearest airports), so we were so lucky and grateful to have 120 guests attend from all over the country. Many of our guests were coming from California or New York and we were so happy to share the beautiful Marfa, TX with them."
