"My favorite detail about our wedding was the atmosphere! It was sunny and seventy degrees outside, which was perfect because we were having our ceremony on a deck overlooking the Chesapeake Bay. Music played the entire time; from a live string trio during the ceremony, to a DJ that played the best dance songs. During the reception, it's safe to say I never left the dance floor. It was so much fun! Lavender roses filled the venue, from our beautiful bouquets, to the arch at the ceremony, to the dinner tables. It was a very romantic setting. During the cocktail hour and reception, guests were able to go onto the deck, which was perfect because the sunset was stunning.

After planning our wedding for an entire year, it was so exciting to see it all finally come together. I planned it myself, because I loved being able to explore all of the amazing options out there to make the big day our very own. My biggest priority was finding the best photographer. I searched many different blogs and wedding websites, but I couldn't find the style that I was looking for; until I came across Dyanna's blog. Her pictures were exactly what I wanted; soft, dreamy, and exciting. I couldn't stop looking! I knew she was the photographer for us. When our wedding finally arrived, Dyanna was on top of everything. She made us feel so comfortable and at ease, all while being as productive as possible. She even took us to spots at the venue that I didn't even know existed! Somehow, she found out there was a secret beach within walking distance and that's where we were able to get our beautiful sunset pictures. The day was absolutely perfect and it couldn't have happened without our amazing vendors and most importantly our family and friends that showed us so much love and support."

Krista fell in love with all things wedding-related after an internship with a Philadelphia invitation studio. Along with her graphic and web design work, Krista also enjoys photographing portraits and weddings. Krista was married January 1st, 2010 and lives with her husband Davey and their two dogs.
