Always big fans of dark and stormy weather, moody photography, sweet fur children and cosy afternoons in with a glass of wine, Chelsea and Matt's intimate stormy afternoon engagement shoot ticks all the right boxes for us, and will have you wanting to cuddle up with the person or people you love to share some special time together. This beautiful session was shot by We Are All Stardust.

Chelsea describes the story of how they met and came to be, "We worked in the same office building, but never really spoke and always thought the other was a bit odd. Definitely not what you'd call love at first sight! A mutual work colleague was looking for housemates, and low and behold, next minute we were living together. As room mates we were only ever friends, but after I moved out, we both realised how much we missed each other and that perhaps it was more than just friendship...."

The couple didn't really have a style of shoot in mind for their engagement photos, but instead chose to trust their photographer and, as Chelsea describes it, "her ability to capture a special moment, no matter the backdrop... or impending destructive thunderstorm!" They ventured out into the streets where they lived to find these perfect moments.

Of her now husband, Chelsea gushes, "Matt is the most generous, patient and kind person I have ever met. He is not a loud, joking person, but somehow always seems to be the life of the party. People magnet to him... including me." Of Chelsea, Matt tells, "She is a little ball of sunshine, and lights up every moment we are together. She loves unconditionally and respects who I am."
