We're going to say something bold: it's time to bring back white eyeliner. No longer reserved strictly for your mod-girl Halloween costume, white eyeliner is making a comeback in a big way. The best part? Wearing white eyeliner on your bottom waterline has the power to make your eyes look brighter and wider - two things we're very much in need of, thanks to our many late nights uh, studying.
We love this simple and daytime-appropriate way to wear white eyeliner - instructions below:
1.) Prime your upper lid and lower lash line with eyeshadow primer to prevent smudging.
2.) Sweep a nude, shimmery shadow across your lid, two-thirds of the way up to your brow. We used Sin from . Apply a chocolate shimmery shadow into the outside corner of your crease in a sideways "V" shape to accentuate and add definition. We used Darkhorse from Urban Decay Naked Palett e.
3.) Take a black liquid liner and trace along your upper lash line.
4.) Line your lower waterline with a matte, white eyeliner - we used . Use a eyeshadow brush to soften the line and give it a more natural appearance. Finish off with a swipe of mascara on your lower lashes and voila - instantly brighter, more awake eyes!
