Today I've got a smart and cheapo idea for all happy owners of backyard swimming pools. It's a great spot during heat waves, but even though water cools you down, the danger of dehydration is still high.

Usually, when you swim, you keep your cooler by the pool. Istructables' user, Macgeek, found a better way to get hydrated while swimming than buying a pricey floaty drink holder or keeping your drinks on hot decking. He made a beverage boat with the use of a pool noodle; a storage container (with a locking lid) and waterproof nylon rope fo only $1.99!
