Materials needed: Step 1Measure out paper the length of your craft stick.
Mark with pencil across paper.
Take ruler and cut along with x acto knife (make sure to use some type of cutting mat underneath).
Step 2With your 6" strips of paper, start to accordion-fold each row of paper to desired length.
Step 3Apply glue on each side of craft stick and place in the center (back side) of the folded paper.
Step 4After glue on the glue stick has set for 5 or so minutes. Apply glue on the bottom of each side of the fan. Then clip wet edges until dry (about 15 minutes).
Step 5While glue is drying on fan, cut about a .5 inch by 5-6 inch strip of paper (will use to wrap around glued base of fan)
Step 6 (optional)You can paint craft sticks to add more character to craft stick.
Step 6Unclip fan and apply glue to the strip of paper. Wrap strip around tightly to add extra support to base. Let dry.
