We played around with the Dress Builder on Lace & Liberty's website - it's lots of fun! And it was so cool to see the results, with the full look all together at the end.

We paired the Classic Corset, with the Off-Shoulder Lace Top and utterly romantic, Dream Skirt, and the result was a truly gorgeous wedding dress, and it couldn't have been easier to create.

Top Tips for Buying your Wedding Dress Online

Jacqui and Danielle know that shopping online can be daunting - especially if it's for your wedding dress! They've put together their top tips for helping you scour the internet for the dress of your dreams.

1. What's Your Style?

Online shopping is best suited to brides who have already tried on dresses, know what style they're looking for but haven't found the right one at stores (whether due to style, size, price or other factors).

2. Gather as Much Information as Possible

We've heard of horror stories of brides buying online only to receive something completely different. Try to gather as much information as possible. For example, for brides who are unsure of quality, we offer free fabric swatches for you to get to know the dress better and avoid any surprises.

3. Get Measured by a Friend or Tailor

Try to enlist a friend or have your measurements taken at a local tailor or dry cleaner to improve accuracy. Through our made to measure service, we've found that brides who've had help with their measurements generally receive a better fitted product.

4. Plan your Schedule

Most bridal attire is made to order, thus do expect a lead time of a few months, however check if the seller can provide a faster timeline if needed. Remember to also allow time for final alterations.

5. Don't be Afraid to Ask
