Brideys, this is a cool shoot. Scratch that... This a fascinating shoot. And you know what? You don't even need to be a an avid TV watcher or Game of Thrones watcher to appreciate the eye candy or gather inspiration for your wedding. There is so much to look at, and so much to see, that for the life of me I cannot stop looking at these pics! And you know what? I am fair weather Game of Thrones watcher (only because my brides and Bitchless Bride keep me so busy that there is no time!). With Game of Thrones returning April 6th for it's 4th Season, we used the inspiration of Robb Stark and Talisa Maegyr for this photo shoot. In the wake of the Red Wedding, we are taking a look back at our favorite couple and the rivalry between the Houses Stark and Lannister."

Mimicking a medieval feast, we created an opulent table setting to contrast with the rustic and crumbling scenery.
Building a centerpiece through a grape wood branch provided an organic element and asymmetry to the table, merging the luxuriousness of Court with the rural starkness of the North Wall.
We used the Deer Head for Bartheon.
This disparity is also echoed in the elegance of Talisa's gold lace gown with beaded necklace and the natural elements of feathers and leather in the bouquet and boutonnière. Wrapped in a fur, she embodies being Queen of the North.
The color scheme revolves around the House Crests - the Gold Lion of Lannister, Red Dragon of Targaryen, and Gray Direwolf of Stark.
The chess set, made from cold yet unbreakable marble, symbolizes the movements and strategies of the multiple characters and houses.
