What's the best snack ever? Need some hints? It may be fresh, roasted, salted... It's little and green. Pistachio - of course. Apart from having a unique taste pistachios have high nutritional value which makes them an ideal party snack.

However, as a keen handimaniac I can't let the empty pistachio shells go down the drain. I sometimes use them as a fire starter or to line the bottom of plant pots but they can also make natural ornaments or rattles. I've just recalled how they can be used to make Pistachios Shell Tree. Quite recently I've stumbled upon another practical project in which Natalie from Creme de la Crafts makes Pistachio Shell Necklace. Not only is this idea perfect for upcycling empty shells but it also looks natural and unique especially when don't put any colour on the shells.
