#162: paradise

There's nothing like a bold punch of colour to brighten up your Monday morning! So this week's inspiration board is inspired by the frankly tropical weather we've had over the past few days - from brilliant blue skies to spectacular thunder & lightening storms it's felt more equatorial than northern European for most of the week! I'm not suggesting this is the perfect British wedding scheme - although at a venue like Kew Gardens this could look totally rad!

For a destination wedding - I'm thinking the beautiful remote beaches of Hawaii or Bali - this is the perfect palette. Don't be afraid of colour - mix unusual, tropical blooms with gold for a totally luxe look. I love the idea of paper tassels fluttering in the breeze - a super easy way to bring your own but of DIY to a destination venue! But most of all with this one, you've got to have fun with floral crowns and pineapple place settings all adding to the 'totally tropical' taste!
