So, if you're looking for ideas for your wedding stationery, look no further! Andrew from Fine Art Curation vendor Vintage Designs is here to tell us all about why he loves what he does...

My name is Andrew Bradley, the designer and creator of Vintage Designs. I work from my home in the county of Devon with my trusty partner in crime Alfie the Labrador. I am essentially a one man band- but with all of the gear. I design, produce and print from my office. I love working with our customers to get their stationery perfect. There is no point for me to put limitations on the amount of amends or proofs I produce. It has to be right, so I will make revisions until my customers are happy. I have a design background - I studied design and photography at university and my passion is in the detail, which I apply to almost all of the things in my life. With a love of old typography and illustration, my vision is to revive old principles, detailing and styles, combining them with modern standards and techniques which I think gives the best of both worlds. It has been difficult to choose my favourite wedding as I have worked with some fantastically creative brides and grooms. But one that sticks out for me was a bespoke request from Gemma and Charlie. They wanted a film themed wedding, but wanted it to be classy, vintage style and impactful. They gave great direction, but they also had confidence that I would design them something beautiful. (I think it helped that I had designed Gemma's sister Sarah's wedding invitations the year before!) So from their brief I designed the 'movie ticket' wedding stationery. It is a fun invitation- designed as a row of tickets, perforated so that guests can tear off the RSVP to send back, with the information and invitation remaining. The look of the ticket is classic and has pleasing elements like the dates can be hole punched, and the layout has the look of a vintage movie ticket. They not only had invitations, they also had save the date cards, and all their wedding day stationery like table place cards, order of service, and a huge, show-stopping table plan! The wedding looked fantastic and I was so pleased to see how well my stationery fit into their theme. I love working in the wedding industry- it is such a positive time of people's lives, and I feel lucky to be able to help them in such a joyous period in their lives. The principle I work to is one of good old classic design, the kind that can be pulled out of a dusty box in twenty years and still look timeless. If someone has specific questions or requirements for their invitations they can call me up and discuss them, or we can do it all via email, whichever they prefer. Every order is individual and custom- I often receive swatches of fabric to match colours, or maps, images, or simply ideas from customers who want their invitations to uniquely represent their journey.

Ooh we love this cinema style wedding stationery! So fun! If you'd like to talk to Andrew about creating your wedding stationery, head on over to his website to find out more...
