A Touch of Violet Wedding Inspiration | Fly Away Bride

A Touch of Violet Wedding Inspiration | Fly Away Bride

We are a little chuffed today as it's our FAB intern's first ever post! And.. it's so good!! Andreina has been working with us for a number of months and is such an asset to our team. Working mainly on social media, she has a huge interest in photography also and has accompanied us on a few of our shoots and real wedding. Knowing that our shoots and weddings always start with an inspiration board, Andreina tried her hand last week at putting her own together and we are super impressed at her first attempt. I must have put about 20 together before I felt one was good enough to go live.

From Andreina...

"Last week I learned that putting together an inspiration board is so much more than pairing colours and images together. They have to inspire you and look like they belong with each other.

When you know nothing about styling it's harder but when you reach the end point and have found that last image, it's amazing and you feel so happy with the result.

A touch of violet was inspired by the wedding bouquet in this board. Summer should be here but we live in Dublin and the days are usually chilly and not hot. I could feel the breeze on my face while looking at the image and I just felt it should be paired with soft and neutral colours. Shades of blue, greens and creams makes for a refreshing inspiration palette and I think it would work really well for an outdoor violet wedding reception.
